100 Best Posters

November 2012

News

In 1966 a competition took place in East Germany to celebrate the best 100 posters of the year. This tradition survived well into the newly reunified Germany and since 2001 the competition includes all German-speaking countries in Europe. After the jury has made its selection the posters are presented in a travelling exhibition and a book is printed to give interested readers an idea of the assortment of posters. In 2012 our poster series for a critical take on Germany’s Jobcenter system “Without a life the job is pointless!/ Nothing is going the right way!” was selected.
