Shadow Trilogy

Naoko Tanaka is a Japanese artist based in Berlin. From 2011 to 2016 she develops a series of installation-performances named the shadow trilogy. More than just a documentation of those performances, the book raises questions around Naoko’s works and major topics. « Schatten Trilogie » displays research sketches, photography documentation and essays from the writer Yōko Tawada as well as texts from theater and art researchers.
