Global Prayers

The project, “Global Prayers: Redemption and Liberation in the City,” is an artistic and academic research project whose goal is to examine the renaissance of religion in the metropolis. To present its results to the public, a number of publications are in the making. The final publication of the project is Global Prayers – Contemporary Manifestations of the Religious in the City. This book reflects the interdisciplinary character of the project and explores the mutual influence of religion and urbanism. It includes photo essays, reports, interviews, academic articles, and photo spreads.
