No Humboldt 21!

No Humboldt 21 is a campaign to stop the reconstruction of the Berlin Palace – Humboldt Forum. On completion in 2018/19 the restored palace will house a museum of the city’s “non-European” art collections. The No Humboldt campaign calls for a public debate on the planned construction and the museum concept attached to it given that the art collections were acquired through imperial conquest and violence. The group points to a lack of critical discussion of Germany or Europe’s colonial pasts. These posters were produced for the touring exhibition (The Anti-Humboldt Box) that critiques the construction plans and museum concept.
